10 pasture raised chickens, These birds will be processed as whole chickens and frozen.
Our 9 week fall CSA contains many of the items from summer as it begins in September and runs throught the end of October. Starting with homemade salsa and ending with warm vegetable soups as the weather turns cold. As with all our shares, we reserve the right to add eggs, bread and jam to your csa at any time to ensure you have the variety and value you are looking for.
This 14 week CSA is the mainstay of our farm. A 3/4 bushel box every week with pickup at our Farm Stand on Tuesdays. Pick up on Fridays or delivery in the Alexandria Lakes Area may be possible by arrangement please email us. This CSA has the most variety of the year. Tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers, zucchini, carrots, lettuce heads, beets, broccoli, and much more. The variety of textures, colors, and flavors engage your palate and sway your diet towards vegetables. You'll enjoy better health and the peace of mind knowing where your food is coming from. We reserve the right to add eggs, bread and jam to supplement your share!
Our spring share is a welcome mix of fresh leaf lettuces, early carrots, radishes, asian greens, baby spinach, baby kales, and more. This 8 week CSA starts the beginning of April and runs til the end of May with a 3/4 bushel box delivered every week. We only offer a limited number of these shares, so that our members can enjoy a full bounty. Many of these crops are seeded in February or overwintered as seedlings. The overwintered spinach is fabulously sweet after a winter of cold and snow.
